My apologies if this has been covered before, but a search didn't turn up any threads over the last year. I am shopping for study guides in preparation for taking the GMAT in the next year. Can anyone tell me if there are 1 or 2 titles regarded as the "definitive" test prep books? There are too many options on Amazon, so a recommendation from people who have taken the exam would be appreciated.

Hi Leinie.

I prepared the GMAT and got good results by buying the latest edition of the three "official" GMAT guides available at mba.com. Preparing with the materials and the several thousand questions there should be enough (it was for me).
