Hey all,

I'm taking my test on 05/21 and I'm starting Q banks after starting the organ systems in FA tomorrow. I'm planning on doing 100 questions a day. In terms of qbanks, should I do Uworld twice or Uworld and USMLE Rx? I am planning to annotate into FA as I do the qbanks so I don't know if going through Uworld twice would be as helpful. Plus I can easily recognize the answer to previously answered questoins so I'm leaning more towards doing Rx and Uworld.

It doesn't take long to do Rx because the explanations are short and the Qs are more straightforward IMO. I'm getting through 3-4 blocks per day easily. I think you have enough time to do UWorld once, Rx once, most/all of UWorld again, depending on how much time you spend on other resources. At minimum, you'd have time to redo UWorld incorrects and marks. I think Rx is worth it to check comprehension of FA, which I'm finding is extremely difficult to just sit down and read.

I had started with Rx and got about 70% the way through in my initial part of studying, and when I finished UWorld I had the intention of doing the missed again.

But when I started doing my missed UWorld I realized I was remembering way too many of the questions for it to be helpful. So I went back and finished Rx, I felt like I was gaining more from new questions than the repeated UWorlds

bump. any more input on this?
I tried to like Rx but most of the questions were just FA in question format. If I could go back in time I'd try to incorporate more Rx qs during the school year, as a check on my FA knowledge, but I don't find it helpful during dedicated when I'm a lot more pressed for time.

I did Rx first as I was reading Fa and now its all Uworld. If you have time, then do both and like someone else stated above, go over the wrong answers in Uworld.

Do rx. I dont see a use for going thru uworld all over again, maybe the ones u got incorrect but there isnt a good reason cuz ull end up memorizing. 15% of uworld questions are completely stupid and would never show up on step 1 imo.

thanks for the feedback

Hey guys so just looking for some advice here. I almost done with Rx and have not done a cover to cover read of FA but have done it scattered along side Rx. I have taken my sweet time with it i.e Over 2 months. At this point I am at a cross roads. I could either dive right into U world or get a cover to cover pass of FA before I start. I am just feeling kind of shaky with my FA at this point and I am wondering if a pass of FA before U world would be worth the time commitment. If yes, then how much time should I commit? Really appreciate any input I can get. Thank you.

So that stat that says " the more practice questions you do, the better your score will be" Should a person try to do, uworld, kaplan, and usmlerx? If you all had to do it again would you do all 3?
