GF and I are staying.😱

House was built in the early 1900s and hasnt blown down or flooded yet so I think our chances are pretty good. We've got the whole-house generator, plenty of food and booze, a big assassin dog, and 2 shotguns.

Remember jet, when you see the hurricane, shoot at it with the shotty, ask questions later. Its the only way to get rid of those dang hurricanes. If you hesitate, they will attack, remember, they can smell your fear.

PS hide your hostess snacks too, cause the category 3 and above hurricanes go for those first.

Been a long-time since I logged onto SDN. Been watchin' the hurricane coverage and thought about ya. Wanted to wish you, "Godspeed, Jetproppilot"

Everyone should search the posts and read what JPP wrote during Katrina - it really puts the rest of the news coverage into perspective during that storm. Can't forget the post about driving through NOLA with your kid. Haunting stuff.
