going back on blood thinner after SCS implant

How long do you wait until you restart Coumadin/Plavix,etc on a patient that has been off Coumadin for 5days for the implant and had a 1.1 ?

I was thinking waiting 24 hours.

what if they are on lovenox - and you have them stop for the appropriate amount of time for the trial. Can they take it with the leads in (on QD prevention dose, not treatment)?

no… restart prophylactic dose 12 hrs and full dose 24 hrs…I think
