I'm wondering if any of you do psychometrics as a side job and if so what the going rate is? I have finished all my doctoral work and I'm starting an APA internship in the fall. A neuropsychologist has asked me to do testing for her for $14 an hour and honestly, I think that sounds a bit low (I am in the northeast). Am I over-valuing myself?

no no..that is low. Im still in grad school and work as an RA/clinical rater at my professors lab (which is actually housed in a med school) for 18/ hour. Granted this is California though. But still, I was psychometrist in Kansas before grad school and made 20.50/hour there.

If its not at least $16/hour....I think your getting underpaid.

That's kind of what I thought, but it is hard to tell without a comparison!
