Hi all. I am planning to legalise my dental diploma in Canada. The option with having to apply to universities and going through studies is off the table for me. I would be going down the direct equivalency path which involves several stages of examination. Let's say I do that and successfully legalise my dental diploma. How difficult is it to find a dental clinic which will be willing to go through the LMIA work permit hoops if I'm willing to cover the costs for them? It seems like this LMIA procedure is simply a formality and no one really checks to make sure that the employer actually done the process by the book. Employers simply don't want to bother with papers, that's all. After I gain Canadian experience, I'll have better chances for PR in Canadian Express Entry system as opposed to having only non-Canadian work experience.
