How important is it to learn which tests are specific or sensitive for conditions for Step 1. Is this included in RR for Step 2 purposes???? For ex, anti-dna antibodies for lupus, psa for prostate cancer, etc....

You have to know that you get ANA for Lupus, not that it is 80% Sensitive and 25% Specific (i just made those numbers up). This is especially true for Step 1, which focuses on mechanism, not choice options.

If anything, it is useful to know things like Anti-CCP is a better Test than RF for Rheumatoid Arthritis, but that is so Step 2 I cannot see it being on Step 1.

Step 1 is mechanism mechanism mechanism. Do NOT learn Se and Sp for tests for Step 1. Not even for Step 2. That is real life knowledge, not Step knowledge.
