Sooo just a question... how many ppl used Goljan's rapid review for studying during dedicated study time? I used it a bit during the term... but I was planning on actually sitting down and reading it once or twice again alongside when I start UW questions in a couple of weeks.

- having said that, I listened to goljan audio and pathoma during the term and took notes directly into my Goljan - which is also why I wanted to read it again cuz it has everything in one place.

Sorry, I'm too tiny for that. But I've heard amazing things about it from people who blew their Step 1 out of the water. In fact one guy said all he needed was FA and Goljan Rapid Review. Good luck.

Hmmm... well Im not aiming for a 250+... I'd be ecstatic with a 240+ but path has kinda been my favourite subject so I wanted to give it my best shot as being my best also.. I lost a lot of knowledge since learning it in 2nd year.

thx for the help 🙂

I also used the Golian text throughout the year, but I'm not using that at all right now in the dedicated study time. I think it has too much for right now. That being said, there are a few times that I've looked things up in it. I use it when I know that I used to know more details about a certain topic that aren't written in first aid, and I'd go to golian and add those into first aid. But it will take more time to go through golian in addition to first aid if you do want to do that, just make sure you're planning for that in your schedule.

This.
Way too much time to read it now. Pathoma is more concise if you want that instead.

Thanks for the replies guys. I totally get what you mean why it being too much...I actually consolidated pathoma into the book during the term so I might just focus on those points and keep to the blue boxes. I'm thinking if I do a bit more than a chapter a day, I could finish one round in 3 weeks and I have 8 weeks till my exam, so hopefully get two rounds in.
