Good Biochem Book for Part 1

I was just wondering what biochem study aid people are using for their part 1.

I hear "High-Yield Biochem" is a great review, anyone agree or recommend something different? or is the Kaplan book be more than sufficient for that section on the boards?

Thanks. 🙂

I just finished reading kaplan biochem and I think it does a great job. Sums up metabolism as a whole pretty well. But if you want to go further, most people at my school recommend lippincott's biochemistry.
I think for biochem - don't get bogged down in molecular structures, just memorize all the rate limiting enzymes and products. Try to grasp the whole big picture. By viewing biochem as just a balance between fats, carbs, and proteins.
And then understand what happens in each category if say, " I'm hungry what happens?" "Or I'm full?"
