good book for intro to anesthesia

I'm starting my 4th year elective soon and wanted a good book to read for the basics. I've looked over the pearls and that seems to be a great source. Any other suggestions?

I mentioned this several times, but NMS Clinical Manuals Anesthesiology is a great book for the 4th year med student.

Reasonably priced paperback textbook, too big for your back pocket: Morgan and Mikhail.
