I'm starting my 4th year elective soon and wanted a good book to read for the basics. I've looked over the pearls and that seems to be a great source. Any other suggestions?

I mentioned this several times, but NMS Clinical Manuals Anesthesiology is a great book for the 4th year med student.

Thanks. New to the site, so I have not heard of that before. I'll check it out.

Reasonably priced paperback textbook, too big for your back pocket: Morgan and Mikhail.

Pocket size handbook: Clinical Anesthesia Procedures of the Mass Gen Hospital.

Ask the Director if they have an old copy of Baby Miller laying around and save your money.
