  1. Pre-Pharmacy

I am a soon-to-be pre-pharmacy student who wants to gain more exposure in pharmacies by actually working in one. I've been shopping around for review exam books for the PTCE but can't really tell which books are worth my time and which aren't. Is there anyone else who self-studied with a particular book (or books)?

I used "pharmacy technician exam" by learning express.
The advantage of that book is that it is short. It allowed me to read the whole book and study, take the test in less than 2 weeks.
However, it is not comprehensive.

The pharmacy technician test is extremely easy. You can really pick any book and study.

Just passed the PTCE last week by self studying for 3 weeks on and off. I have the "PTCB Exam Simplified 2nd Edition" by Heckman which is a small book. In total, I used that little green book by Heckman, the corresponding chart, the PTCB practice exam and a practice exam from Mosby. I found the test to be easy and Mosby covers most of the pharmacy law that Heckman didn't.
