Good books for surgery and psych??

Currently on pysch and will be going to surgery next. I hope to read Step 2 material as I go through each rotation. Any recommendations for either?

Surgery: I heard surgical recall is good? Any other recommendations?

Psych: havent heard much about what is good or not?

Recall is good for pimping... that's about it. I'd recommend getting it thought. In terms of other books for the shelf there's not too many great options. NMS case book is supposed to be good. I didn't use it so I can't comment but i've heard good things. Pestana review (can find it online) is a must and it's easy to get through.

The psych shelf is pretty easy. First aid for psych is a very good book and it's short.
