I am looking for application suggestions and schools to apply outside of Illinois (I'm an IL resident). My MCAT is much better than my GPA, which is causing my concerns. Here's my stats:

35O MCAT
Plenty of great EC's/Work Exp. (Clinical and Non-Clinical)
GPA 3.1 and sGPA 3.04 from a top 15 university
A year of full-time clinical research at a medical school

What are my chances? Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks!

Looks like your % chance is around 43% chance of acceptance. Certain things can improve this, such as if you have a significant upward trend in GPA. If you receive rejection when you apply, you can look into SMP's.

For advice, apply to virtually every school you can afford to, with obvious emphasis on the least selective schools to increase your chances.
