Good medical spanish books?

I'm thinking about picking up some medical spanish terms over the summer. Any good books out there or a class website w/ sufficient material for self-study? Thanks.

Hi,

I would suggest _Medical Spanish: A Conversational Approach_ by Di Lorenzo-Kearon and Kearon and _Medical Spanish_ by Bongiovanni. The former is better if you know absolutely no Spanish but I would recommend the latter if you have some sense of the grammar and would like a decent medical phrasebook.

For a standard intro to Spanish, the ever-popular _Puntos de partida_ is what I used. I think it was fine.

i've taken ap spanish in hs. haven't used it since. 😀
 
Thanks for the suggestions. This topic has been on my mind and I kept forgetting to ask. Just bought the Bongiovanni book.
 
Hello. I am a part-time medical interpreter. This book is by far the best book for learning medical terminology. It has a translation section and a section on common questions, etc. It is very thorough. Here is the information on it which I found at barnesandnoble.com:
