Hi guys,

So I need some help for my fall schedule. I am doing a post bacc right now and will be taking Orgo I, Orgo lab and Bio 2 in the fall. This will be 7 credits. I really want to take the EMT class but don't want to overload myself. Should I maybe just do Orgo I and Bio II along with the EMT class? I have a part time RA job for the fall but other than that my schedule is pretty open.

I'd go for it. Bio2 is a joke and 7 credit hours + part time is what most here would consider to be a "light load", if not an extremely light one.

Having said that, everyone's capabilities are different. If you think your grades will suffer significantly then you should be more cautious.

I think I would do it. I'm currently taking 8 credits this summer, which is only 6 weeks, and one of the classes is Bio II. I'm also working PT. I've found it relatively easy to handle so far. In the fall, you'll have much more time to spread out all your work. Yes, orgo is difficult but with the fall semester factor being there, I don't see it being terrible. And, I would definitely take Orgo lab with Orgo, because for me, it cemented a lot of the topics in a hands-on fashion. Plus, word on the street is med schools/other graduate health programs like to see you challenge yourself and do well, so it could be a great time to prove yourself :luck:

Bio II is just memorization, so you should be just fine with orgo and that and the EMT class during a regular semester. If you're just starting out your post-bacc and are trying to repair your GPA, you might want to stick with just bio and orgo though.
