Good physics classes in Boston area for fall/spring?

I'm currently a student at HES and have heard terrible, terrible things about the physics class that's taught over fall/spring I've tried BU's Metropolitan College, but unfortunately, their physics class is right at the same time as the other HES classes that I'll be taking. I'm looking for suggestions for where else I can take physics classes around town.. any ideas?

im a HES student and i thought about this too. but i realized that if you dont think youll do well in an UNDERGRAD class then you're not cut out for med school. u dig? im planning on getting some tutoring sess going before AUG 29 so i can get a head start. u should look at least look over the book and watch some MIT physics classes on youtube so u have an idea on what to expect.

I'm just taking it in the summer. Given the choice between taking it with Rueckner or French/Offner, I'd take the latter any day based on what I've heard, cost be damned.

If you can get through summer chem, you can get through summer physics. If you're worried you don't have the necessary mathematical background, you can brush up on precalc, or take a semester of calculus (some med schools require/recommend taking at least one semester anyway).

I know it isn't calc-based physics, but frankly, introductory physics is basically applied first-year calculus. Being comfortable with differentiation and familiar with integration will go a long way in making the concepts more intuitive.

If you're worried about cost, forget it. 5k in the hole is nothing compared to the debt we'll incur in med school, so you might as well go big or go home.

Look into Tufts, they have good professors over the summer for Physics 1 and 2.
