USMLE Good practice test beside Uworld?

Hey everyone,
I've got my USMLE step 2 test this weekend. I've done Uworld and 3 NBME exams last month. I was wondering if anyone has tried any other companies self assessment and found it to be a good predictor of level of question style and score?

Is firecracker or kaplan CK practice test any good? I wish Uworld had another self assessment.

How much more validation do you need? I'm pretty sure you have a good idea about how you're going to perform, with some minor variance, this weekend. None of the other self-assessments that you haven't done yet have any predictive power that you can hang your hat on, so spend your money on something better. Like the post-exam.

To answer your question, I was asking for a practice resource because 1). the NBME does not provide explanations 2). My uworld practice test was much higher than the NBME ones I took ( I failed all 3). I scored a 220 on Uworld practice exam with a 49% over the year (timed&tutor mode for shelf exams).

I am a DO student so I do not need to take the test I'm doing it so as to have more chance at ACGME residencies and because I do not feel that the COMLEX was a good assessment.

With that being said, I did not sit for my exam as I wasn't feeling good about it and would like to see how much I bombed my COMLEX to see if I should risk failing a USMLE exam.

The other practice exams aren't worth your money. Reset UW or redo the questions you missed/marked.

Thanks. That seems like a practical plan and so far I've been doing that. It's going to be easier for me to do the missed questions since I'm going to start wards on Monday and won't have a 9-5 schedule anymore.
