Last semester I withdrew from my Calc I class not because I couldn't handle it, but because I had test scheduling conflicts.
Everyone in all the Calc I classes had to take the test from 7-9pm Wednesdays, but I ofcourse had Bio lab from 6-9pm. The retake time was the next morning from 8-10am(same test) (I had another class from 9-10:15am that I couldn't skip). So I asked my TA if I could get another time and he gave it to me but said I would get a significantly harder test than the others because I did not take it the first two days. I didn't think that was fair so I withdrew from the class. I'm in Calc 1 now and I'm doing fine, should end up with an A- or maybe even an A.
I would have dropped from the Calc 1 class earlier if our math department actually had a set date for our first test...
Good enough reason for withdrawing? I mean obviously I can do calculus from what I've been doing this semester.
