We're on our renal block right now and it's confusing as f***. We're halfway through the module and I feel like I don't know anything. Namely the physiology is confusing (channels, equations for stuff like clearance, as well as acid-base). Our lectures suck because the professors ramble on about how to manage patients as if we're hitting the wards next month, rather than teaching us the physiology and pathophys. I'm currently using these to focus my learning:

Firecracker
Pathoma
Picmonic
Vander's renal physiology (written pretty poorly imo - very wordy)

Anything else you would recommend?

I'm M1, so this is nothing new to you. Dr. Najeeb really helped me get through renal phys. I also did Kaplan and BRS along with a bunch of Qs. Captain obvious here, but the Qs help cement the material and make the connections. Like any other intense physio section (namely: cardio, pulm) you have to go through it a few times to make it stick.

I'm also interested in what others have to say since I'll be starting with the renal block in pathophys right after break.
