Hahaha

I like the response, GoForIt.

I think the point that this poster was getting at, xoomn, is that all of the Osteopathic schools are "good" schools.

The school that is "best" is the school that is best for YOU.

With that said, remember that there are schools which, for a variety of reasons, are looked upon more highly than others.

This can be due to:
- Age of the school
- Location of the school
- Familiarity with the school
- Size of the school
- Research $$ at the school
- Publicity of the school

If you ask people around here there top 5 "picks", if you will, you will find each school listed at least once.

Older schools and schools located in or near major cities seem to prevail in these types of responses (PCOM, CCOM, KCOM, UHSCOM).

Also, schools associated with larger universities (MSUCOM, OSUCOM, OUCOM, DMUCOM).

Then there are schools that are relatively newer and get awesome reviews all around (NSUCOM, AZCOM, NYCOM).

Then you get the schools that get the recognition based on class size, board pass rates, and research money (UMDNJSOM).

There are schools which have a small town, homey feeling that people enjoy (UNECOM, LECOM, WVSOM, PCSOM).

Then, there are the schools that I know nothing about (COMP, TUCOM, UNTHSC-TCOM).

Then there is the new school opening in Virginia which is really unknown.

OK...so pick one of those.

Good luck.
