Good textbooks/guides/sources for Immunology?

Levinson's review of medical micro and immuno... just use the immunology chapter in the back. ~90 pages, explained very well, good for boards too

Standard (not geared towards boards iirc) is Janeway's Immunobiology, explains everything you wanted to know about immuno.

Parnham's book is the best i've seen. Great diagrams if you just want to skim through and detailed explanations if you want them. You can get an old edition used for pretty cheap on amazon.

This was our textbook for the class: Immunology – A Short Course, 6th Edition, R. Coico and G. Sunshine, Wiley & Sons Publishing, 2009. (plus Janeway as a reference but I would be surprised if anyone ever used it). A Short Course was really good-- I pretty much read it cover to cover (its not that long) even though we had a pretty decent syllabus.

Used it in undergrad and the pictures/summaries are immensely helpful. Not sure if it will help for med school though since I haven't taken it yet.

If your school has a subscription with AccessMedicine, they have Levinson's review of medical micro and immuno online.

But everyone I've talked to have said that Parham's is great for clearing stuff up.

"Little" Abbas for the basics of immunology..."big" Abbas/ Janeway for associated diseases!

I liked Abbas's Basic Immunology. One of the few textbooks I've read.

I loved this book. I raped my immuno course and was off the chart to the right (as in did really well) on my Step 1 score report. It isn't long, there isn't TOO much detail, and the pictures are great. Its well written. It was the only resource I used for my immuno class. I was going to recommend this, but saw someone else already had.

Lippincott's is great.
