I Got The Rejection Letter From Usc.so I Dont Know On What Bases They Selected The Students.i M Happy For This Colorado Program It Starts From Jan. So I Will Finish It Soon.

Hey everyone! Dr.Harvan called me yesterday with a good news . I have been accepted to UC. Feel very happy. I have 2 acceptance from UC and USC, feel very special also .I will probably go to UC. Everyone who got acceptance in there, will see you. Good luck the rest.

hey guys
thanx a lot.the program is new.i got to know from my beloved friend.it was very little time to apply.the deadline was OCT 8 .
the interv. was very very cool for me.they extracted as much as possible from me.i was relieved after the interv. as if i have thrown up.they were really really nice.offered me a cup of water before i start as i was nervous with 1st inter.i was much satisfied after the inter.it was 2:1 inter.
then they had practical exam.they had asked for class 2 on tooth no. 19 and gold crown prepa. on no.3 .later they had one more exam ,which was with diff. types of dental waxes.we have to carv a green dental wax stick to a shape they asked for.with yellow and green wax ,we had to melt it and form the letter O , B, S .bottomline is they wanted to see how we handle the wax.that was something new for everybody.
lets hope for the best who r still waiting for the acceptence call.all the best folks.take care.

i never knew about UC. I`ve got a call from BU for interview on jan 6th,2005.can u tell me what r the chances there, do they call many ppl for interview? please let me know, if u `ve any idea about that.

I think it is a done deal.Remember dr.Harvan said that he is going to call to those who has been accepted and send a letter to the rest.He already made his call.

Dr.Harvan called my wife this morning. She is ecstatic to be joining the new batch at UC. Best wishes to all those who are still in the hunt for admissions seats. It took us close to 3 years and two admission cycles ( to a total of 9 schools) before we cracked this problem. We are relieved.

Congratulation! I did not know that he is still calling people. He caled me a week ago and thought it is a done deal. Congratulation again, it took me about 5 years and 3 admiss. cycles to get what I wanted and finally I got in to 2 schools this year.I guess I will see you in UC soon.Good luck

i came to know abt this school from my friend.i just applied in last moment.
my score is part 1 -92,gpa-3.63,toefl-263 .

at BU they have called almost 180-200 students for 60 seats.and i think almost 40-50% are filled.thats what i came to know during my inter. on nov. 18 .they select the students at the end of feb. also so there will not be any problem with jan inter.

I have a couple of questions regarding the practical exam.If you don't mind can you tell me ?Do you have any practice before the exam?If so, where did you practice?Will they show us how to do the letters with wax before the exam.

u can buy a compressor handpieceand typodont either second hand or nw. use schillinburg as a guide or some other fpd book and u can practice on the typodont. also if u get hold of duggans video frm some1 i think it will be very useful. i didnt take any classes, but i was able to do well in my exams in the west coast.
