A couple of years back, I took bio 2 and got an F (and a D in another elective course). I retook bio 2 a couple of semesters ago and got an A+. I've also been getting A+'s in my other courses such as cell bio and biochem.

All of this being said, how bad does that F look on my transcript even though during my retake, I got an A+.

I think you're fine, don't worry too much about it. You retook and got an A in addition to A's in cell bio and biochem, which theoretically should be a lot more difficult than gen bio. Gj

I'm a 3.4 sGPA. F in Orgo. At my VCU interview, interviewers never mentioned it. I brought it up myself. You learned from failure. You'll be fine.

I got above a 97% in these classes and therefore I recieved an A+... that's just the grading scale that my school uses. Doesn't an A+ also count for a 4.167 or something?

Probably, but I'm just not familiar with colleges that give out A+'s, and especially so if you did not get over 100% but if that is what shows up on your transcript, great.

Your fine, I got a D in bio 2 and then retook got an A. Then I tutored the course. They said that looks good.
