Got an Interview at Columbia: Where are the others?!

Correct me if im wrong.. but if Columbia has extended me an interview, im starting to think there are a lot of school that are not looking at my application in a timely manner or its stuck under a huge pile, or something?

Hope this doesn't sound like im suddenly full of myself.. I guess different schools have different criteria. I have interviews to 4 schools so far (BU, UNLV, Meharry and Columbia), so i am not complaining... but im gonna start calling schools tomorrow, something i have restrained from doing.. I just want them to take a serious look at my application.

Im waiting for UMDNJ, Buffalo, Stony Brook, Nova, Pittsburgh, Temple, Tufts, Arizona, USC

also UoP, Uconn & U Penn but i know im not guaranteed interviews two these 3 but i think most of those others should consider me..

What do you guys think?
Should I chill? (not like im freaking out or anything😎 )
Again if im coming off as cocky, I apologize.. I don't mean to just wonder if my apps are in order at these places..

(PS.. i know im not going to get invites everywhere.. ive already been rejected at Case, the whole process is puzzling)

I am waiting too for some schools...
it is cuz there are much more competitive applicants in the battle field right now...
It might take time for them to consider u and I a spot if our stats are not as stellar as those who got interviews...

The process IS confusing. You received a BU invite but was rejected by Case. I have a Case invite and haven't heard a thing from BU. Man, I love Boston...

I'll be at Columbia Dec 8th.

I guess columbia just goes through applications quicker than most other schools..

When I spoke to Marquette, they told me that all interview offers were extended prior to Dec. 1st and they would like to have the entire class chosen by then. I was also told that if they have to meet again to discuss more interviews, they will, but no plans have been made for after Dec 1st. Let me just say, I was kinda bummed.

what's the benefit of having the class filled by Dec 1?

surprise, surprise....it's that essentially the adcom's jobs are done with for the year. They can rest easy from then on. Take longer lunch breaks. Browse the internet while getting paid.

they're completely willing to have the class adequate than for them to do work throughout the year. After Dec 1, they'll just accept more people as needed to fill up the entire class, and they'll do additional work as necessary. Laziness. Could be the drive of the dental adcom!

Hey, When have you sent your application to Marquette.I sent my AADSAS pretty early, but it took me a while to send them the secondary application material.I sent the supplemanetal material last week.Do you guys think that it was too late?🙁((((((((((

yeah, I was just perusing predents.com, looking at profiles, and it seems totally random what school people get interviews for and who passes them up. I really think they just have an enormous dartboad...maybe mix up a gin tonic or two...
