Guys,

I know this is not a question but can't explain happiness after this never-ending process.

Well when I got 05 in Verbal, I didn't really expect many interviews. I took MCAT in August. Only DMU offered me an interview and today I got acceptance letter from them ! I interviewed there on Nov 5th.
Haven't heard anything from other schools though.

Vimal, I interviewed in Portland... so I didn't get to see the area. What's it like? What did you think? What are the facilities like? What's the overall feeling/environment? Are you going to rent or buy? Are you married? Do you have a family?

I'm going to be making a combined interview at Kirksville/visit to Des Moines in about 4 weeks. I have two kids and I'm a single mom... I want to buy a home so we can spread out a bit and have room to study, too. The property is CHEAP out there, which I'm glad to see.

Congrats, congrats, congrats! Now it's time to start taking care of the smaller details, huh?

Well with new building, facilities are going to be great there. Everything new including classrooms and it will be open for us. Moreover its in downtown and its a great city. I stayed there on the day of interview (after my interview went great 🙂) to see the city. Its nice at night and they have nice restaurants and bars. Moreover everyone is friendly there including students, administration and people of Des Moines. When I was waiting for cab outside after my interview, many students came to ask me if I needed a ride.

Well I am single and going to rent if I decide to attend DMU (still have one month to decide). Well I didn't see any reason why not to attend DMU except its too cold there for me.

This is somewhat encouraging to me as the VCOM decision date approaches. I didn't get a 5 in VR (I got a 10 in VR) but I got a 5 in PS and I'm afraid I'll end up with a rejection or waitlist at VCOM!

The wait is agonizing.

Sure, my MCAT is 26O with 11 in PS, 10 in BS and 05 in VR.

My total GPA is 3.53 with Science - 3.46 and Non Science - 3.85.

Yeah I took MCAT, volunteered in Hospital and Shadowed a physician for one month while working fulltime. After all its all paid off.
