It is WRONG to force someone to be injected with anything they don't want to be injected with.

Hey, forever, come here for a minute. (Dbhvt administers a quick droperidol injection). There, that's better.

Browniegirl-- Mumps is caused by the mumps virus which is a member of the Paramyxovirus family. It does have long ranging effects on members of the age groups that it is currently effecting most frequently at present(18-23). Of biggest concern is the tendency to cause sterility in males!! 😱
It really sucks when someone uses fear tactics like you just did. I can back up the fact that what you stated is not true.
Here are a few links for you to read

Pertussiss vaccine proven not to work
And, remember, Aluminum and other toxins in the vaccines will not cause a cell-mediated response but an antibody response, that is why natural infection is far superior, as it stimulates the entire immune system.

Hmmm... it didn't work. Bigger dose next time.

Ciao all, I'm out.

Since when is it considered to be psychotic when someone brings up vaccinations and disease?
Has anyone really learned anything or do you guys just write what the prof wants?
You are adults now and can make your own decisions.

I don't think it is right to put us at risk because our parents parents decided that we all needed to be vaccinated.

Our parents and their parents (or whomever) also decided that antibiotics, sterile technique, diet, exercise, not smoking, etc. do wonders for our health. Perhaps you should forsake all of that too, because you didn't decide on it, so therefore it must be "not proven."
You better get started now, because there is a lot of research you're going to have to reproduce in order for our generation to believe anything that came before us.

You've got to be kidding...you are citing sources from an obviously biased source. Orchitis is not an uncommon complication associated w/ Mumps. I will concede that it is not necessarily the mumps virus that causes the sterility, but it does cause the orchitis that threatens the testes.

Maybe you would get better responses on these forums if you didn't attack people personally or use such a condescending tone. I can guarantee that most posters would take you much more seriously.

OMG! Please tell me you are smarter than that! There is NO such thing as eradication of disease! It's the basic principle of energy.

the 4 requirements for a disease to be "eradicate-able"
1. no animal reservoir
2. recognizable signs/symptoms

i forget the rest, but i can go find them

AND if you've got mumps you can transmit disease before you start coughing and stuff

Here is an article from 2004
http://www.vran.org/news-art/articles/need-know.pdf
Anaphylaxis is an adverse
reaction to vaccination that is recognized by health authorities.
Previously unheard of life threatening allergies to things
like peanuts are now an everyday problem for schools and
parents who must avoid even minute traces of such allergens
in an affected child’s lunches and those of classmates.
Robert Mendelsohn,
MD voiced his concern: “There is growing suspicion that
immunization against relatively harmless childhood diseases
may be responsible for the dramatic increase in autoimmune
diseases since mass inoculations were introduced. These are
fearful diseases such as cancer, leukemia, rheumatoid arthritis,
multiple sclerosis, Lou Gehrig’s disease, lupus erythematosus,
and the Guillain-Barre syndrome.”

Your source is biased.

"VRAN continues the work of The Committee Against Compulsory Vaccination who, in 1982, challenged Ontario's compulsory 'Immunization of School Pupils Act', and brought about an amendment to the Act which guarantees an exemption of conscience from any 'required' vaccine."

People on this board will not take that source seriously.

Vaccine reactions are seldom reported. It has been
acknowledged by government bodies in the USA that no
more than 10% of all vaccine adverse events are reported; a
survey of doctors offices in New York State showed the
abysmal reporting rate of 2%.
Where is their proof? How do they know its only 10%? What if that is the ONLY reactions?
Additionally Severe allergic response (anaphylaxis), -, 1 in 100000

I understand what you are saying about the vaccines, I have the same concerns but I think we are on two different sides of the extreme. Some of the arguments in that paper are sensible, others really contradict most of the current research on this topic. Research can be skewed, but to have overwhelming evidence vs. just a few studies, which one would you believe?
