So, what kind of information has everyone received from peers or others on the review course's available for orals? Is any particular course "the one"?:luck::laugh:

Admit it, you could care less about the review courses, you were just dying to start a threat with that title!

BTW, great title.

The most common thing I hear about the oral exam is that I shouldn't take a review course. While it may be true (or not), it doesn't help allay my anxiety.

Take care,
Jeff

Why drop money on a review course? Just get together with a small group of your peers, and you can each provide oral practice for the other. That way everyone benefits from multiple people's experience and feedback, helping everyone reach the climax of oral ability.

I have no particular course to recommend. But I was a oral examiner for the board for more than a decade. Candidates really should take a course for the gamesmanship part, not the content.

the ICEP review course is good. Because you can learn where the bathrooms are between breaks.

Seriously, it's decent because you are in the same rooms, same hotel, same format so it's not so much a "review" as it is a sTimulation. An ORAL sTimulation.
