I have look at this site too many times today. I am currently studying for exams in my classes, trying to get my research together for a conference, restudying for the DATs I am gonna take Oct. 12 and I am feeling a bit strung out. Gen chem is my menace, my application was pretty much set before I got a 16 in that section. How are you guys doing? I just want to be a dentist. *shivers and looks off into space as eyes glaze over*

Well I am starting to understand what addiction can be like.

I refresh SDN at least every 10 minutes.
Get disappointed that there are no new updates -> Go to last years threads and over analyze everything including dates, number of interviews, when I think the next invite batch will be released -> Start freaking out
Or if there is something new -> Realize that some people have a bazillion interviews and that seats are filling up -> Start freaking out
Jump every time I hear an email notification -> Realize it's not my phone -> Start freaking out

Even in my dreams, I am checking SDN.

If it makes you feel better, I also applied to Marquette and didn’t receive an interview, despite how good my stats are. It’s certainly not all about stats, and I’m happy with where I have gotten interviews at so far since two are my top choices! Don’t give up, you’ll get there one day. Best of luck on DAT retake.

I also applied to Marquette and haven’t heard anything. I have a 3.63 gpa and 26 AA, so don’t feel bad. I actually haven’t heard from some schools that I thought I for sure would. But don’t worry there’s still plenty of time!

Y'all haven't got interview invites **yet**. The cycle is still going. There is still plenty of time. Take a break from SDN. Make a diligent effort to not check it and focus on midterms etc because it isn't going to make a difference if someone else got an interview invite. Good luck everybody. Keep your heads up.

Haha this was so me last year. Try to take solace in the notion that this time next year you will (most likely) be in dental school and drowning in multiple quizzes and exams every week. Take it one day at a time and enjoy the ride 🙂
