Is a GPA of around 3.5 and an OAT score of 320 competitive enough for most optometry schools? (my top choices are Berkeley and SCCO). I have one more year of undergrad left, and fully expect straight A's, boosting my overall GPA up as well as my science GPA. (Currently my science GPA is above 3.5). I'm just feeling unsure about my OAT score. I take it in 2 weeks, but have been taking many full length practice exams and generally average around a 320. Any info is greatly appreciated!!

PS-If it makes a difference, I am not applying until next Fall (2013) to begin optometry school Fall 2014, as I have a couple post-bac classes I need to take after graduation.

As far as the OAT I wouldn't worry too much about the score you are getting in the practice exams. I took quite a few before the real thing and was getting about 320-340. The real thing was much easier for me and I managed a 370 AA 400 TS. the biggest thing to remember is to look over all the questions both right and wrong. You will see that you can learn a lot from what you got wrong.
As far as you GPA goes Id say you are golden. Don't worry about that at all just keep it up.
