I was wondering what I could do to boost my science GPA.
I meant will it be factored into my GPA that medical schools look at.
Astronomy at uf has its own department its an "AST" Course and I'm guessing that any botany classes won't count either cause they're under "BOT" 👎
here is a link that shows you what counts as BCPM by AMCAS:I was wondering what I could do to boost my science GPA. I go to UF and have taken the following classes:
General Chemistry 1 & 2 w/lab
Biology 1 & 2 w/lab
Physics 1 & 2 wlab
Stats 1
Calc 1
Taking Orgo 1 now and 2 in the summer w/lab
I want to raise my science GPA for both AACOMAS and AMCAS.
Are there any other classes I can take? I read on the forum that Astronomy counted as physics. Any ideas if its true or what else I can take?
Thanks!

astronomy goes into BCPM as it counts as physics. Depending on the school, astronomy can be tough, so don't go in thinking it will necessarily be an easy A
