GPA Calc-why such difference??

anyone know why they do this?? Does this mean that Canadians have a better chance of getting a higher GPA than americans?

Canadians are strange. Probably.
 
I'm at a Canadian school. An A is 90-94, A+ is 95-100

thanks for the reply salsa. so a 4.0 is 90-100? Do u know what the range is for A- and B's? Is this same for all canadian schools?
 
I don't think it's that uniform. At the school where I did my postbacc, in some classes a 95+ was a 4.0, and in others it was 90+ (93-94 was an A- in the former, 85-90 was an A- in the latter).
