When AMCAS calculates our GPA, do they take into account the different credit hours assigned to courses at different colleges? For example, I took Orgo I at my regular University and it was 4 credits + 2 lab but I took Orgo II at my state school over the summer (same course/credit hours as the course there during the year) and it was 3 credits + 1 lab. Does AMCAS calibrate these differences or are the courses just weighted differently?

grades are calculated exactly as the credit values are listed by the school. For you Ochem I will be 4+2 and Ochem II will be 3+1
