Could someone tell me how GPA is calculated for MD/DO applications?
I had 2.59 undergrad and a 3.9 grad (in social sciences)...I'm about to begin my pre-reqs and I'm trying to figure out how many classes/what I need to get in order to raise my GPA into above 3.5 for med school applications. Does my graduate GPA get factored in at all to help bump it up?
Thank you!!

Graduate GPAs are not included in AMCAS (allopathic-MD) GPA calculations but are included for AACOMAS (osteopathic-DO) calculations. You should begin by reviewing the huge body of literature on SDN about GPA repair. I would pay special attention (and possibly search) for post by poster DrMidLife.
