How does Optomcas exactly calculate the overall GPA and science GPA. Is the overall GPA only the grades you have received from your graduating university or do they also consider the all the grades you have received from community colleges and such. For science GPA, do they calculate only the prerequisite courses or do they they also add in all the grades that are Math based, Psychology based, English, Biology, etc. that were not required courses into the science GPA calculation? Thanks!

science GPA includes any class that is science based.. anything from bio to physics to chem to nutrition, etc. when you're inputting your grades they tell you what counts as what. Your overall GPA includes every class from every university

Thanks for your reply! Do you know if optomcas has a list of courses that they use when computing the science GPA? Do courses such as kinesiology or geology also count towards the science gpa too?
