Anyone know of a good website with a GPA calculator for lots of classes? My school's website has a calculator, but it only has fields for 5 classes. I want to calculate my science gpa and I've taken more than 5 classes.

I don't know of a website with a calculator, but this is copied from our undergraduate catalog and tells how to calculate a GPA manually:

The Grade Point Average (GPA). The grade point average is
a numerical value which is obtained by dividing the number of
grade points earned by the number of hours attempted. This
average, often called the index, is computed at the end of each
semester or term, and on a cumulative basis. The grade of “A”
represents four points for each hour of credit; “B+” three and onehalf points; “B” three points; “C+” two and one-half points; “C” two points; “D+” one and one-half points; and “D” one point. No points are recorded for an “F” or a “WF”, although the hours attempted are included in the computation.
Suppose that the student has earned the following grades:
3 hours of A (equal 12 points)
3 hours of B (equal 9 points)
3 hours of C (equal 6 points)
2 hours of D (equal 2 points)
2 hours of F (equal 0 points)
The semester average, then, would be 2.23, which is the quotient
obtained by dividing 29 (the number of points) by 13 (the
number of hours attempted).

Hello,

I am in the GAMSAT website where international students from Canada can apply for dental & medical schools in Australia. It says that a GAMSAT ID is required for logging onto the online calculator. Since I sat in a MCAT exam NOT a GAMSAT exam, I don't have a GAMSAT ID. Does anyone know how international applicants can get access to the online calculator? Are we supposed to contact individual school directly to calculate our GPA?

Thanks in advance!

you can make an excel sheet if you know how to use excel. it would take less than 5 mins

you can use excel

make a list of credits and grades

credit * number grade = total

add all the totals

then gpa= sumoftotals / total number of credits

I add up all the credit hours by the grade...all the A's, B's C's then enter them by large numbers instead of doing each class at the time....I think I'm correct doing it this way. I use this one all the time:
