Right now I have over 80 credits at all As, but this semester I will get a couple of Bs for sure, which will drop my gpa to at least a 3.9. How will this impact my application when I am applying this summer since it will be a downward trend. I am a nervous wreck just thinking about my application and applying.

I was in a similar situation, I had a 4.0, 29 DAT, and I was an Olympic athlete (not gonna say which sport, I don't want to blow my cover!). In my first two Olympics I got gold medals for the U.S. but in my third go-round, I only got a silver 🙁

But it all worked out, I obviously couldn't get into my IS school or any other cheap programs, but luckily NYU accepted me on the condition that I pay double tuition.

Don't worry, there's still hope!

3.9? A downward trend would only be a problem if your GPA was on the lower end, because then even if the numbers themselves aren't outstanding, an upward trend would be positive and show improvement. A move from 4.0 to 3.9 is not going to matter in the slightest.

You're good...

Btw... I'm assuming you're a student at Notre Dame? If so, my Longhorns are out for revenge this coming Fall.

I recommend to begin looking at nursing programs

Thanks for the replies guys. So you don't think it will have a negative impact when I apply in June?
