GPA good enough to make up for low TS, PAT??

DAT and GPA Breakdown:

AA - 19
TS - 17 (16 in Bio 🙁)
PAT - 16
QR - 21
RC - 23

oGPA - 3.76
sGPA - 3.61
BCP - 3.51

Do you think my GPA is good enough to make up for the poor TS and PAT scores on the DAT? I am becoming a little more worried about those two scores, as they are probably the most important on the DAT, and the two I did the most poorly in.

Any thoughts and opinions are much appreciated.

My science GPA is what urs is and I was told that I needed to make 20+ on the DAT to make an impression. Maybe u shud sign up for a retake?

But your location is in trinidad... you are an intl... that means your gpa should be higher than accepted stats and your DAT should be higher than accepted also.
If you needed 20+, OP probably only needs about 18+
I think OP's scores are fine, not everyone has 20+ DAT and that's why the AVERAGE accepted DAT is 18-19... meaning a lot of people get below that.

Op consider a retake... Only if you are not a URM.

The sciences you can bring em up... if you haven't applied, do not apply with those scores. Retake then only apply.

I talked to couple deans from diff dental schools. about dat scores... they said qr they dont mind as long its about 15-16+

but the rest they want 18 or 18+... consider that.

Op... also consider this people say accepted score is 19 or 20... but remember this.
TS: 16,20 20 = 19
TS: 20,18,21 =19
TS: 21,19,19 = 19

See the total sciences... for bio, chem and ochem... obviously d schools would either pick the second or 3rd person. even when their averages are still 19...
See the score diff. but all of them have TS average of 19...

Now when the schools say avg of 19 thats what they mean...

Unfortunately, what we think really doesn't matter... you can look up the statistics of what sections specific schools value you most on the DAT, but even then it differs widely.

Back to the original comment... if you already applied i would wait to hear back from schools this year. If you do not get in... then retake and apply again with a better score. Only retake if you have plenty of time to study and improve. Just my opinion though... nothing more. Good luck!!! 😀
