I don't know how ECE coverted my orginal undergraduate dental GPA and evaulated it. But, it's really low. only 2.7. I was so shocked when I received this score report. Is there any chance that I can still be admitted? help😳

not all the schools are concerned about GPA like NYU SO don't bother it is not the most imp thing in many schools they are looking at your file as total not only your gpa like USC ,LLU,UCSF ,BU and good luck

It depends on university

I know one person with part 1 of 87 and gpa 2.5 got in usc

Ya you should be ok. Look around at all accepted candidates have 3.0 + GPA.
Try to get eval done by WES and apply to schools that accept it.

i am accepted to NYU with the same gpa. you are already a dentist and did the hardest part in your country.
you cant change your GPA but can change NBDE and TOEFL,work hard for these two and believe in yourself,not those pessimists who are found extensively in forums.

You WILL get accepted into a program.
Do not be derailed by what you read in a lot a lot of forums as the other poster rightly stated.You can just read them for information. Just try very hard in your NBDE and TOEFl and if the school you are applying to requires a Personal statement, write a damn good one.Try not to fit into a mold, make yourself stand out.My GPA is like yours, I did not do any DSA jobs in America even though I did in England while I was still in school and I do have a lot of private practise experience from back home.I didn't do any Masters programs here either and I got accepted into NYU this year.
The WES evaluation will probably bring your up to 3.0. I personally did not use it 'cos the schools I applied to wanted ECE only.
You will be fine and if you are a religious person pray a lot.don't let anybody discourage you from anything and don't compare yourself to anybody.The schools you apply to want an individual not a statistic.

You will get 3.4 gpa through WES. You can use it for some schools.

thank you all nice guys again. You give me confidence. I'll work harder on Part I. But, do you think I should also take Part II? Now it looks I don't have too much time to get part II well done before the app for class 2010.
