Hi everyone
I have a question regarding GPA calculations. My transcript is from a canadian school, however it is all numerical and there is no grading conversion system at the back of the transcript. My question is, does AADSAS equally weight, for example a 70% which is a B at my school the same as a 79%, which is also a B? If thats the case isn't that pretty unfair? I mean out of 120 credits if my average was 70% i would have a 3.0 and the person that had a 79% would also have a 3.0?
Thanks

Yeah i have seen that scale but that seems very unfair to canadian students who are in institutions using only numerical grades. Students who have high 80s have a good chance of getting into dental in canada but students with low 80s have no chance. But AADSAS view them as the same? Still unclear

Unfortunately I believe that is the case. However, you are marking that you’re an international student and different grading scale. This can be used to your advantage, I would contact the schools you’re interested in and apply to those schools who accept more international students...

It completely sucks.

I don't know how i can inform schools about the grading system. NYU is my number one choice and all they will look at is the GPA AADSAS came up with :/
