I am wondering what other pre-meds GPAs are, if you don't mind sharing. Also, have people gotten a "C", and if so, in which class? Thanks for the info!

Congrats to all of you; no doubt you worked your ass off and will continue to be successful in med school. Good luck with your applications, not that you need it, haha. I'll need a double dose of that myself, though. My goodness.
I wouldn't be worried. The impression I get is that schools prefer to see a certain GPA, but if it's above that threshold then they start looking at other stuff. I'm certainly not banking on my GPA alone getting me in anywhere.musiclink213 said:What? Only 7 people so far with GPA's between 3.5 and 3.6? Wow. I'm hoping the upward trend thing will count for something.
For me, my GPA is 3.56, which is actually .01 higher than what it says on my official transcript. No grade lower than a B. I feel really inadequate with all these people with high GPA's.

Econ degree. Business Law is what did it for me, but it was one of my favorite classes. A lot more interesting than Physics and Gen Chem imo.
Edit: University of Florida
