I have a quick question re: GPA. I am in the process of transfering to a 4 year school to finish up my B.S. The question I have is they are accepting 17 credits from a tech school that I graduated from as the fill ins for my elective part of my degree. This tech school is not a "college" or "university", but does qualify for the same loans, stafford, sub and unsub, as normal colleges and universities. When I fill out my AACOMS application, do I include these grades? I actually would prefer they do, because they bring my GPA up to ~
3.7 from 3.57. Thanks for any input.

Since aacomas asks you to list all schools you've attended since high school I'm thinking they will include those grades. I'm not exactly sure. It makes sense they would.

Is the tech school regionally accredited? (i.e. Western Association of Schools and Colleges, North Central, etc.) If not, there may be a problem getting the credits accepted since I think the school has to be regionally accredited. If your tech school is not regionally accredited, I'm surprised the university you are tranferring to will accept these credits.

Thay are accredited by the AACCST?(Think that's it). It's the american trade schools and colleges of technology( or something like that) It is a nationally known broadcasting school. Oh well, we will see dont have to worry for 2 years. Thanks
