i say that i have a 3.2 because it sounds better than 3.155

but i feel a little bad because i'd be the lowest out of all the 3.2s out there.. should i?

I wouldn't.
How about 3.16?

its not really a moral crisis. 3.2 sounds better.. if they ask for more sigfigs, ill give it. i just wanted to hear if anyone thought it wasnt a good idea

general speaking = 3.2 or 3.1 something
more specific = 3.155

saying you have a 3.2 or a 3.16 does not matter.
1) where GPA counts (like to admin committee), they have your record on file, and knows exactly what GPA you have just by a glance. (sci, oveer all, non sci, etc)
2) where GPA could be mentioned (like in a personal statement). It does not matter exactly what GPA is stated (since the difference is minimal). What matters in this case is the content being expressed.
3) where GPA does not count (like talking to friends). Does it matter to you, especially in terms of getting into to dental school, what GPA they think you have?
