GPA Trend Advice

Hey all, planning on applying in the upcoming cycle (2019-2020) and wanted some advice about the level of concern I should have with my GPA. My cumulative GPA is fine, and has generally stayed about the same, with a slight upward trend toward the end, finishing at 3.70. My STEM GPA is 3.58, and has declined each year. I graduated from an Ivy League school in 2018, and am on the first of two years I intend to work at a psychology lab my undergraduate school. Should I be worried about my STEM trend, and if so, how much?

Downward trend is never good. Your GPAs should still be good with a 510+ MCAT if you apply broadly.

Not stellar but average. Ace the MCAT and apply broadly. Don’t expect to end up at an ivy with a 3.58 unless there’s something outstanding in the app.

Thanks to both of you. Not super worried about my MCATs, I'm already above 510 on practice tests.
