gpa with W's VS. gpa without W's

a gpa of 3.3 without any W's VS. a gpa of 3.6 with 2 W's.
lets say the 3.3 gpa could of have been 3.7 if there were W's instead of F's.
what do you think about it?

F is always worse than W...but W's are pretty bad as well.

i would say take the w's. 3.6 is higher than average. 3.3 is average.

I dont think Ws are bad at all as long as you have one or two. I have one myself and I dont think it is going to be a problem. I mean you could hae gotten really sick or something during the class, etc...

i opted for 2 D's instead of 2 W's and my GPA is still a 3.6

W is a cop-out. getting a poor grade and acing it the second time around, in my opinion, is better than a W. withdrawing from a course doesn't teach you ****. chances are you will do crappy the second time around too if you withdrew the first time.
