MCAT 7/8/10

The main ECs:
25 hours Shadowing ortho in the OR
1000+ hours working as a medical scribe in the ER and a cardiology clinic.
three years part time research. Co-author publication pending
100 hours of volunteering in a hospital

Your gpa is great, mcat is subpar for DO, but I think it's fair to assume your URM status should cover that 2-4 point loss? Your ECs are okay I guess. You could use more shadowing/ non-clinical volunteering, otherwise you should be okay. Overall, I'd say you have a good shot so long as you apply broadly and to a fair number of DO schools. Absolutely no shot at MD though (mcat).
