Did you take child psych as well as developmental psych? I only took one and they added both to their pre reqs

I took developmental psych and a research oriented children psych. But I think when I applied they only asked for the developmental psych.

I applied to At Still and I am planning on applying to Midwestern tomorrow. I applied to At Still October 7th and still haven't heard back about an interview. How long did it take for you to hear back and when did you apply there? Good luck on your interview! I agree the waiting game is terrible!

They got back to me fairly fast about an interview. I think it was in September when I received an interview. Midwestern got back to me in less than a week... and I am still waiting to hear from AT Still.

HI! I applied to AT Still, Touro, and Loma Linda and I had my interview for AT Still early this month and received my acceptance email last week. I am still waiting to hear back from Touro and Loma Linda though.
Do you have an interview with Touro? And have you been asked to make a video for Loma Linda?

That makes me so sad, because I haven't heard back from AT Still. 🙁 Touro told me I'm on the waitlist for an interview! I'm upset about that because I interviewed with them last year and was waitlisted so I thought my chances would have been high getting in. I already made my interview for Loma Linda and sent it. I think they get back to you in December or January.

I so bummed about Touro.

Well I will be declining my interview invitation at touro so hopefully a spot opens up for you!

I have been following this forum for a while now, but have not posted my stats, so here goes! I am praying to get in somewhere this year! Has anyone else applied to any of these schools? I'm not done with all of my applications yet, but I just thought I would try to get opinions/advice? I also was wondering what you all did to boost GRE scores? Mine were not so great the first time, and I definitely studied a lot! I am not a good standardized test taker, so I was wondering if anyone has suggestions?

I am applying to the same schools as you except Radford, WSSU, and Towson, but I am also applying to Emory and Henry! I took a GRE prep course and I thought it was helpful! But it only raised my scores by 1 and 2 points respectively. I am hoping the admissions committee takes a more holistic view especially since my gpa is also low. Good luck! So exciting to see someone else from Virginia applying since I am not seeing that a lot on here!

The same exact thing happened to me. I interviewed with Touro last year and they did not offer me an interview this year.

Has anyone that applied to Emory and Henry MOT program received any feedback so far?
I received an email stating they will review my application beginning in December as well as the supplemental registration info.

Has anyone been offered an interview from Emory & Henry College with a gpa below 3.0?

Hi! Do you think child development fulfills this req? I have yet to call the university and ask.

I applied mid-September, received an email 9/21 asking to confirm what prerequisites I was missing (much like your materials received notice), received an email 10/7 for an interview invite, interviewed 11/11, and was accepted 11/23. If the deadline was the 15th, I don't think it means rejection. I see in past threads, people got invites in January. And some people already received rejection letters at this point. I think it's just a waiting game right now.

I'm from Virginia too! I'm in the same boat as you, took the GRE didn't do great, took a prep course and only raised one score by 3 pts and went down in another. I go to UVA and my GPA isn't very competitive because it is so hard to get good grades here... so that's another part I'm worried about. Like you said, I'm also hoping they'll take a more holistic look, since we are people after all and not numbers!

That's awesome to see another Virginian! It's really frustrating sometimes, but I won't let it get me down I totally get the whole grades thing, that is such a hard school and I totally agree! Where are you applying? Where are you from?

Hey guys!

For those of you who haven't gotten in yet, no worries! I am in the same boat. Lets keep hoping for the best and bettering ourselves. We have all of December-Aprilish still! After April we can worry. The waiting game sucks, but we're all trying to pursue this profession for a reason. We can do this!

After filling out a secondary app for AT Still, I was notified my science GPA was below their cut-off and they would send me a check to refund the app fee. I was really discouraged because I applied to AT Still as a sort of "safety" school so after that I figured I wouldn't get any interviews this cycle. AND THEN I was invited to interview at UNE mid-December and they are #2 on my list so I am very pumped!! :soexcited:

I'm mainly applying to New England schools because they have such great opportunities for health care. I decided against applying anywhere in-state since I kinda just wanna get out of VA for a bit.. not sure if that hinders my chances of getting in places though..? Originally, I'm from the Northern VA area, how about you?

I interviewed at UNE earlier this month! You'll get a chance to meet the faculty and the current students, everyone was super nice.

NYU doesn't do interviews and won't tell us until like Feb/March. Bay Shore said my application was under review and I'd hear before June so not too sure about them tbh. Rush hasn't answered my email regarding a transcript they asked about so I am stuck with them too.
