Hello Guys, I am a D3 student and looking to do GPR after graduation. but due to some restrictions, I am gonna apply in illinois only. please any recommendations on which program is good and give more experience in surgeries and IV sedation. I checked and found many programs such as Masonic, Loyola, Northwestern, OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Evanston Hospital, and AEGD SIU., and recommendations will be super helpful and appreciated. thanks in advance.

i can only talk about loyola but i did not like it. the program director is amazing, really. but their program seems pretty meh. you spent half the year in VA clinics so that was the nice part. there is also an OMFS program within the same building/hospital so you barely do any surgeries/wisdom/implants. also, you have to wear business casual in the dental clinics and for me that was a big no hahah

thanks for your feedback. I think they should balance the procedures between OMFS and GPR, Also Agree with business casual is too much 🙂
