Hello all, I plan on applying to GPR and AEGD programs this upcoming cycle. I am not exactly sure what my end game is, but I may consider specializing in prosthodontics down the road; I love the idea of learning the "how" and "why" of more advanced/difficult restorative cases. For the next year or two, I want to focus on doing as many procedures as possible and getting my speed up.
Anyway, these are some things I am looking for in programs: a good number of complex restorative cases (fixed and removable), a lot of implant placement, perio procedures, and some endo and IV sedation. I am willing to go anywhere, so location does not matter to me. I hear programs like UT San Antonio AEGD and Augusta are great.
Any recommendations?
Thank you.
