GPR for foreign trained dentists anyone know??

im an intern in my final year of BDS (Bachelor of dental surgery) at bombay, india.
i wanted to know the foll....if anyone can help me out..-
-do foreign trained dentists have a chance of being selected for GPR in the US?
-are they eligible for recieving the stipened?
-wat exams have to be cleared?
-wat are the interviews like?
-wat are the hours like?

1. It doesn't matter what your degree is "called", point is.. you didnt graduate with a CODA accredited dental degree. (there are dental schools who also grant DDS that are not accredited outside of the states and everyone is considered equal DDS, BDS, CD, BDSc, BChD, DDM, etc, etc)

Do you have a chance... sure. Is it as good as someone who graduated from a CODA accredited dental school. No. But you do have a "chance" so give it a shot! 👍

2. Stipend.. sorry. I'm not sure exactly. This may vary from program to program. maybe not. You'll have to ask each program you want to apply to as they may all be different.

3. You will have to pass US dental board exams Part I and II usually. If you graduated from dental school in a non-english speaking country then you will prob be expected to sit the TOFEL. I doubt many GPR programs would expect you to sit the GRE... but who knows, there may be one or two.

4. I have no clue. Again, this may be completly different depending on which program you're applying to.
