Currently, gpr programs are paying btwn $40 - $55k/yr. Each yr, there seems to an increase of an extra 1k/yr. Health coverage, 30 days of vacation, etc. are all included. The salaries are taxable, leaving you just 2/3s to spend.
As always, look beyond the salary if you're serious about a gpr.
I barely started my gpr ( really because I couldn't find an associate position and the dept chair asked me to sign the contract) and already I'm finding the curriculum to be full of bull.
My program already had three ( ! )people who quit during orientation. And that is in addition to 1-2 unfilled seats. I'll give it an extra week or so before making my own decision.
